Founder’s Story

NIIMI ORIGIN was founded
to share a deeper side of rural Japan.

The region of Niimi is not widely known,
but it holds a unique relationship
between nature, culture, and daily life.

This project began with the idea of connecting visitors
to that reality — not as spectators,
but through real experiences with local people.

Each experience is designed and operated
in collaboration with people
who live and work in this region.

This is not mass tourism.

It is a way to understand a place
through the people who shape it.

NIIMI ORIGINは、日本の地方にある本質的な魅力を伝えるために
立ち上げました。

新見という地域は広く知られている場所ではありませんが、
自然・文化・暮らしが密接につながる独自の価値があります。

それを「観光」としてではなく、
地域の人と関わる体験として届けたいという想いから、
この取り組みは始まりました。

すべての体験は、この地域で暮らし、働く人々とともに
設計・運営しています。

これは大量消費の観光ではありません。

人を通してその土地を理解するための体験です。
